Michelle Pfeifer, a longtime participant in Rauch services, has been selected as a torchbearer for the Indiana Bicentennial Torch Relay. Torchbearers are Hoosiers who demonstrate exceptional public service, excellence in their profession, acts of heroism or volunteer service to their neighborhood, community, region, or state.

Many schools and teachers have made it an integral part of their annual curriculum. To date over 5,500 4th grade students in Floyd and Clark Counties have participated in this annual event.

On Friday, May 29, Rauch Employment Services hosted “Career Day” allowing speakers to share their knowledge among the people with disabilities using Rauch’s services. The speakers presented on a variety of topics and encouraged attendees to consider seeking commercial employment.

This annual gathering of disability service providers from across the state provides a time to look at data, trends, and legislation that is impacting or may impact our consumers.
