Rauch Director of Development Receives 1si ACE Award
On November 17, Rauch's Director of Development, Teressa Jackson, was named the James W. Robinson Young Professional of the Year at the One Southern Indiana ACE Awards. This award was especially meaningful to us at Rauch, as Jim was involved and supportive of Rauch for many years, and our agency benefited from both his business sense and vision as well as his and his wife Phyllis' incredible generosity.
For over 12 years, Teressa has worked to boost the fund development and marketing objectives of local not-for-profit organizations. To date, these efforts have resulted in the investment of over $9 million in charitable support to further the impact of area organizations. Teressa has been the Director of Development at Rauch for five years, where she has overseen two capital campaigns and implemented a variety of successful new agency marketing initiatives.
Teressa was selected for a Rotary Group Study Exchange to Australia in 2014, named a 2013 "Twenty Under 40" honoree by The News & Tribune, and recognized as Floyd County's 2011 Emerging Woman Philanthropist by Community Foundation of Southern Indiana. In her personal time, her interests include painting, outsider art, minimalism, and traveling. Teressa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with majors in Studio Art and Theology from Bellarmine University and a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Louisville. A passionate community servant, Teressa is currently Board Secretary/Treasurer of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Louisville Chapter, a Grants Committee Member at Horseshoe Foundation of Floyd County, and an Advisory Board Member of Open Door Youth Services.
As quoted in The News & Tribune, Teressa says the award, “means a lot.” “I think what I do really relies on everybody in the community being a part of it. To be recognized by this community of people means a lot to me.”
